Now what we'll do without him?? No more "유우키..." from the teacher and no more "はい" (Yes in Japanese) because her mind it was in other place!!

Tteokbokki
Tteokbokki (
떡볶이) is a Korean snack usually purchased in the streets by "mobile" restaurant.
This stall is very popular in this area, and everybody wait his turn for this spice food. Usually serve a plate of Tteokbokki and one cup of hot stock (is helpfully for the people who can't eat too much spice food)
I recommend if you visit Seoul, you have to try this rice cake food!

Beach & Pictures
Last Tuesday I went with Suny at the Ulwangri Beach near Seoul. After take a bus and travel 1,30h we arrive.
The beach it was not very clean, because is very near to Seoul so a lot people visit this place (like the beaches in Barcelona)
The weather was very good, and because Suny didn't told me that we'll go to beach I couldn't swim little bit (swim in pants... maybe Korean people look at me like a nut guy
The sunshine day and the place it was perfect to take nice pictures... and of course Suny is a excellent model (much better than me, of course!!
Some picture that I took:
And also you can see the rest of my pictures in my Flickr account.
After take some walk, we went to drink and chill out little bit; We found a Bar with a nice views, so we spend some time there, just until we sow the sunset. Very good day!!

Korean classmate
In Korea not only is tourism and enjoy the city... to spend some time in Seoul I start studying little bit Korean.
My first two weeks with this language is good, complicated but good.
My classmate are from Japan, China and one from France and Thailand.

Learn Korean when the teacher most the time speak in Korean is... confuse. It's true that the teacher speak English and usually, when the European we look lost in the lesson, she speak English to help us.
Other "problem" is that she also speak little bit Japanese and Chinese... so sometimes I don't know if she is speaking Korean or not
My Korean level is very poor, we just start learning the basic things: "This, that, the" "how", how are you, nice to meet you...
In two week we'll have a test, but I'm sure I'll fail... my priority is not learn Korean (Sorry teacher
Sometimes I remember when I was in New York city learning English; with Sun Young, Jung Min and Nyoung at class... good time!!
Like we said: You can never learn too much!!
My Korean apartment
Other country, other house.
In less than 10 years I lived in 6 different houses (Madrid, Brussels, New York, Mallorca, Menorca & Seoul) it's true that short time (in NY almost a year)
My house in South Korea is acceptable. I live to 1 min to 신청 (Sin Chon) in the line 5 (purple)
I share the apartment with 2 or 3 Korean guys (I don't know exactly the number, I didn't meet all of them) I've a small room just near the main door, but it's Ok because I don't spend too much time inside.
Here you can see some pictures:
If you look the bathroom, the shower doesn't exist, just the shower head and nothing more; So every time that somebody take a shower, all the bathroom is full of water
personally I don't like this system, but... Korea is this!!And of course, alway that you come in the house, you must take off your shoes.

경복궁 Palace
Giongbokgung palace is the name of the palace founded by Lee Seong-Gye in 1394, and in this palace the
Joseon dynasty lived until 1910.
Everyday after my Korean class, with the only European friend in my class (브레데릭, Frédérique for friends
) we lunch and we talk about make some tourism tour; las tour was at 경복궁 Palace.
Just before come inside the palace we was lucky to see a demonstration of a military parade.
The price of this museum was 3.000Won (less than 2 euro!!)
Some pictures:
This pictures was taken by my iPhone, because I forgot my camera in my house
Baseball in Korea
Baseball in Korea is the most important game: no soccer, no basketball, tennis or other game.
Three years ago when I was studying English in New York City, I went with some friends at "Mets" baseball stadium.
Baseball in USA in my opinion is bored. All people like"Coach potatoes" seating in the stadium, without cheer up the team... bored.
Last Sunday with Jungmin I went to Omokio Stadium to see a Worri team (우리) it was amazing!
People cheering up the team, dancing, screaming... very fun!!
One of the things that I found interesting, that every team (local and visitor) have a "cheerleader team" and the boss of this group is a man!
Dressing the uniform of the team, gloves and whistle on hand singing songs to cheer up the players. Also two sexy dancers who help this guy to encourage the people.
A lot choreography, and movement very "frikis" for me.
Sometimes the leader speak at the public to show a new song or the stretching time (in the half of the game, everyone stand up and stretch the legs and arms)
See the video and tell me:
The public sing some melodies that thank you to Jungmin help me to understand; for example, cheer up the player to hit the ball and run to the base... Choan da! (or something like this)

Fish tank & good Education
Korean people are very polite.
Always wait her turn on line, pay the subway ticket, leave free the preference seats...
One of the thinks that I shocked on my was found this in the subway:
A fish tank just in the middle of subway station, with her gold fish and clean water.
Sincerely, this is impossible on Spain. Well maybe the first day (the second day I'm sure disappear the fish and all the tank) but speak clearly, Spain is full of sneak thief people

When in Spain we'll learn about this folks? I don't said that they're perfect, but I'm sure we can learn about them.
National day of Catalonia from the distance
This year, the National day of
Catalonia (September 11) I was in South Korea.
Like others years, The National Day of Catalonia it is commonly called La Diada and is one of the best days to enjoy the cities: National holiday, music in the streets, sun...
This day it commemorates the 1714 Siege of Barcelona defeat during the War of the Spanish Succession; As a punishment for their support to the claim of Habsburg Archduke Charles to the throne of Spain, institutions and rights of the territories of the Crown of Catalonia and Aragon were abolished by the victorious absolutist Bourbon monarchy.
We loose the independence ![]()
The video above you can see a resume of the party in Barcelona city.

P.S: Happy birthday Maria, 29 years-old!!!

Seoul City
Sorry for the delay readers! This first week in Seoul it was very good!!
Just arrive at Seoul, Suny pick me up to airport and together we went to my apartment. The apartment where I'm living is good, is a small and hot room but is fine (next day I'll talk about it)
One day later to arrive I had my first class to Korean, 3h trying to understand the different consonant and vowel and his sound... I had headache!
It's the second time I visit Seoul, the first time just was a week (post 1 & 2) so this time I've time to visit and discover more this city and all the culture (I'll stay almost 3 month here!!)
Right now I'm editing the pictures that I made, I've to show you a lot new things!!!
Message for my parents: Don't worry for me, I'm Ok and everything is good. ASAP I'll write more information, good?
